How to use MasterPlus at home: 8 positions and simple rules
Decompression on MasterPlus is done lying on a firm, flat surface — at home the floor works perfectly, and you can put a blanket down if you like. The device is placed under different sections of the spine in turn.
8 device positions
- Lumbar spine (L1–L3).
- Lower thoracic spine (T9–T12).
- Middle thoracic spine (T5–T8).
- Upper thoracic spine (T1–T4).
- Cervical spine (C1–C7).
- Sacral area.
- Under the tailbone.
- Under the feet — heel, mid-foot, the pads under the toes and the toes in turn.
Time and temperature
- Start with 3 minutes on each section.
- Choose a temperature comfortable for you — from 40 to 55 °C, with no burning sensation.
- Every 7–10 days you can add a minute per section and 2–5 °C.
- According to the author, sessions shorter than 3 minutes per section have little effect.
- Note: if your blood pressure is above 120/80, start the neck section with 30 seconds.
Simple rules
- The best time is in the evening, before bed: discs recover at night.
- Morning and daytime sessions are an addition; leave at least 4 hours between sessions.
- Drink 120–250 ml of water before and after a session.
- After a session, give yourself an hour of rest: better to stand or lie, not sit, not travel seated and not lift more than 5 kg.
Local use
Besides decompression, MasterPlus can be placed on tense muscles, the neck and shoulders, joints and feet — at a comfortable 40–55 °C, usually for 10 to 30 minutes. Important: do not use the device on the lower right abdomen if appendicitis is suspected, and do not place it under the knee. If you have any medical condition, agree your sessions with your doctor.
